Unless the 'E' is much better (may not be a significant difference), the 2. That's a shame if they are going from VA panels to IPS. Greater viewing angles, but worse contrast.

I now have my eye on XBR X9. E 5. 5". Yeah I am at the stage Ive narrowed down my selection to the X9. E or the LG C7. Waiting to see AU retail prices but if this is going for under $2. I think I might grab it over the OLED as the Wife is much more forgiving at that cost. Obviously recently Myer had the C7 going for $3. I didnt jump on it as I cant get anyone to budge on retail $3. Anyway, both are fantastic screens and hopefully we start seeing stock roll through soon.

Sony do this at this time every year. Short lived discounted prices, which come around about every few month or so. Clearly sony is waiting for current models to clear out before bringing in the 2.
